Crowns
A crown is a dental restoration that covers the whole tooth when the tooth needs more protection. A tooth that has a large cavity, fracture lines, and/or large restorations may benefit from a crown. They can be made in many materials including all ceramic (white), porcelain fused to metal (PFM), or all gold. The material selected for the crown depends on the amount of tooth structure remaining and the esthetic needs of the patient.

We have the latest technology that allows us to treat a damaged tooth and restore it to its original strength in only one office visit. Traditionally this would have taken two appointments with a temporary inlay, onlay or crown cemented for a period of time. Now, a tooth can be as strong as it once was in just over an hour.
